Hobie Cat Sailing in New Zealand
The biggest Hobie Cat Fleet in New Zealand sails from Takapuna Beach on Aucklands North Shore.
There are other fleets in Tauranga, New Plymouth, Gisborne, Wellington and the South Island.

The New Zealand Hobie Cat Association had their AGM during the 2008 National regatta at Royal Akarana Yacht Club in Auckland.
